Breathing for Health

One of the fundamental principles of Buteyko is that it is fully compatible with ongoing conventional management of asthma or other breathing conditions. Buteyko is designed to be complementary, rather than an alternative to medical treatment. Some Buteyko teachers are GPS and some work within hospitals as physiotherapists using Buteyko. Our aim is to work with medical practitioners and you would always be referred back to you GP or asthma nurse when dealing with medication.
